counting crows - a long december

하루만 지나면 벌써 12월.
11월의 마지막 날에 gn'r의 'november rain'을 들을까 고민하다가, 결국 하루 앞서 december를 선택했다.
왠지 촌스럽잖아.

'시간이 참 빨리도 가는구나'하며 겁을 먹기 시작하고는 지금까지 그 두려움을 이겨내기 위해 무엇을 했는지.
마지막 남은 한 달동안 과연, 올 한해를 떳떳하고 솔직하게 돌아볼 용기가 나에게 있는지.
벌써부터 연말과 연시를 맞이해야 한다는게 두렵다.

그래서인지 12월은 남들에겐 늘 설레고, 사랑으로 충만한 한 달이지만, 나에겐 참으로 견디기 힘든 시간이다.
어쩌면 나의 이상과 내 현실적 존재와의 사투를 벌이는 시간인것도 같다.

이 노래 참 좋아했었던 노래다.
그런데 막상 이렇게 듣다보니, 12월에 별로 어울리는 노래는 아닌 것 같다.
